Just about everyone likes music, wouldn't you agree? We may not all like the same kind of music but there is just something about a good song that gets your toes tapping and before you know it your singing along. Downtown Hendersonville has been a place of music and dancing for over 90 years and each summer you can join in the fun just like in the "good ole days".

Every Friday night during the summer an area is closed off for Music on Main Street. A diverse lineup of musical talents, from pop, oldies, rock, to contemporary music are performed and there's an area set aside for those who want to dance to the music! Some Fridays the Hendersonville Antique Car Club also host a car show in conjunction with Music on Main.

Every Monday night during the summer the Street Dance comes alive with people square dancing and clogging to a band playing traditional bluegrass music. Special appearances by area clogging teams make for a entertaining, foot stomping evening. So the choice is yours to watch or dance.

These annual events downtown are just one more thing that makes Historic Downtown Hendersonville the very special town that it is. Be sure to set aside a weekend and come experience the music and dancing for yourself. Bring a chair along or borrow one of ours from the Inn and take a step back in time and enjoy the music!
