Wind in the Woods by Rose Senehi
JUST PUBLISHED

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
If you live in Western North Carolina, if you have ever been to a summer camp, if you have children of your own, or if you have ever been in a relationship, then this is a MUST read book. Set in Henderson County NC and centered on life in and around a popular local summer camp , Ms. Senehi has crafted a beautiful combination of thriller and love story backed with the foundation of solid local history. This novel will not disappoint!

Warm and Cozy at The Waverly Inn

While many people in Hendersonville were without power this past weekend, The Waverly Inn was the home away from home for Mountain 1st Bank employees, residents of Laurel Park, and escapees from Flat Rock! With the snow, sleet and ice raging outside, everyone at The Waverly Inn was eating spaghetti, drinking wine, telling stories, and perfectly content.

Next time your power goes out don't "tough it out" and be miserable. Come and join the warmth and fellowship at The Waverly Inn! We offer really low rates for residents during emergency situations. To keep up with what's happening, become a "follower" of our blog at http://blog.waverlyinn.com

The day after this last storm was gorgeous. Picture is courtesy of Lee Beason from Mountain 1st Bank.

Renovations at The Waverly Inn

As much as John LOVES the recent snow storms, Diane DISLIKES them equally. So, in an effort to keep everyone happy, Diane assigned John snow shoveling duty and imported John's sister Betsy from the DC area to start renovating the American Holly room. As one of the most popular rooms at The Waverly Inn, Diane decided to add a more elegant wallpaper and crown molding. As you can see, they are making great progress. Stayed tuned for the finished product!

We hope we've giving yet another reason to visit wonderful Hendersonville, NC very soon!
