Garden Jubilee Festival in Hendersonville, NC

How do you kick off the summer festival season in Hendersonville, NC? With a Garden Jubilee!

This weekend, part of Main Street in downtown Hendersonville will be closed to car traffic to make room for over 200 vendors selling handmade arts and crafts, 1000's of plants and items to enhance your outdoor living area. There will be speakers and demonstrations, even an activity area for kids.

This festival, which is now in it's 17th year, is a favorite of gardeners and those who just want to create a beautiful getaway in their own yard. Listen to speaker Bill Slack from Southern Living Magazine during his talks about "
Magnificent Landscape - Minimum Maintenance", "A Southern Cottage Garden - Everyone's Favorite", and "I Don't Know What to do with My Back Yard." Other lawn & garden specialists will also be on hand to answer one-on-one questions.

So, if you are looking for something fun to do this weekend, want some new plants or ornaments for your garden area, or have questions about your lawn or garden, Hendersonville is the place to be Memorial Day Weekend.

There are still a few rooms left for this weekend at The Waverly Inn. Take advantage of our special Garden Jubilee rate, and enjoy walking to the festival.

We hope we've given you yet another reason to visit The Waverly Inn in Hendersonville, NC very soon!

How To Celebrate A Special Occasion In Hendersonville, NC

Take one special occasion (in this case our anniversary):
Start off with a spectacular breakfast cooked to your order,
Sift in a beautiful day and a hike in Dupont State Forest,
Add just a pinch of lunch at Hubba Hubba Smokehouse in Flat Rock (mmmmmmm),
Squeeze in a side excursion to the book store,
Lightly stir in a little snooze in a rocking chair on the front porch,
Flavor to taste with a lovely dinner at Flight Wood Grill,
Complement with a bottle of Ramey Claret (decanted of course),
And finish with sprinkles of hand holding, laughs, memories, and smiles!

We hope we've given you yet another reason to visit The Waverly Inn in Hendersonville, NC very soon!
